Teaching, mentoring, and giving back to my community has always been a big passion of mine.

Over the years, I’ve taught design, marketing, and business classes and have led workshops for organizations such as The Harlem Business Alliance, The Reciprocity Foundation, Dev Bootcamp, Touro College, and The New York City College of Technology where I currently serve as an Adjunct Professor.

I’m extremely grateful that I can share my years of experience with the next wave of creatives and entrepreneurs and be inspired by their unique points of view. Working together, I give them the tools needed to tackle real-life, complex problems.

Some of the classes and topics I’ve taught over the years include:

  • Design Thinking & Human-Centered Design - Designing for various social goals and initiatives, students research, conceptualize and develop a design project using design-thinking and human-centered design methodology.

  • Senior Thesis & Design Portfolio - Serving as an advisor, I assist students in completing a semester-long project for presentation. I constructively critique cumulative work, with the aim of developing a design portfolio that meets professional standards as each student prepares to enter their design field of choice.

  • Advertising & Marketing Strategies - Using conceptual thinking and universal design concepts, students explore the relationship between products, services, and businesses and how to communicate their benefits and features to their intended target.

  • Business Bootcamp - Entrepreneurial attendees gain a better understanding of what’s involved in launching a successful business using the customer development process. Through breakout sessions and exercises, I help them identify their business model and uncover strategies that can ensure that their business succeeds.

Let's discuss how I can add value to your skillset or to your organization by creating a comprehensive curriculum that works for your needs.
