DigitalOcean is a cloud infrastructure provider that caters to developers, startups, and SMBs in need of reliable cloud infrastructure solutions. Tasked with developing an updated brand identity, event website, and promotional materials for their annual virtual conference, I created a refreshed brand look that captured the theme of the conference, which attracted a record-breaking 9,000+ registrants. Supporting materials such as email and demand generation banners, social media GIFs, presentation decks, and speaker cards were also designed to strengthen cohesive brand messaging.

Essence Festival: PR News Center Site and Information Hub

Essence Magazine holds its annual Essence Festival that celebrates the continuing strides of black women in today’s society, attracting artists and fans from around the world. Tasked with designing and developing a user-friendly responsive website for its PR News Center, I combined various media elements to allow social media plug-ins, real-time imagery uploads, and promotional material features for events occurring during the festival.

White & Case: Building Brand Awareness for a Highly Acclaimed Documentary

White & Case, an international leading law firm, sponsored the online development of a notable documentary, All Rise, and needed a responsive site to generate awareness leading up to the film’s release. I created a site that drove visitors to sign-up forms for screening events and prominently displayed the acclaim the film received. Social media channels were also created and used to circulate trailers and background profiles on the Jessup participants.

An award-winning global agency, Mark Stephen curates immersive spaces that highlight unique brand characteristics while engaging and delighting customers. I was responsible for developing an eye-catching website that highlighted the past and current work of the agency. Key areas were devoted to accolades, previous clients, and successful brand activations, giving Mark Stephen Agency a strong digital presence to continually attract future clients.

Fox Studios: Illustrating Diversity Efforts for Fox Audience Strategy

An American broadcasting television network, Fox Studios wanted to create an internal network highlighting its diversity initiatives in recent years. I was responsible for designing the UI and UX experience for three distinct websites for different internal departments, each specifically designed to demonstrate the diversity strides each division was working towards.


THE JOEL GODARD portfolio Website

Former Conan announcer Joel Godard needed to promote himself after the show moved to the west coast. The goal was to brand Joel apart from Conan in a way that would differentiate him from just another voice-over comic. The concept uses the phonograph as a vehicle to communicate Joel Godard’s talents and abilities through sound. The typography references Paula Scher & Toulouse Lautrec to communicate humor.


McCLATCHY INTERACTIVE - Onboarding screens for app integration

To advance McClatchy's subscription and retention goals, my team needed to reimagine the subscription platform service and offers. As such, we performed a massive platform migration that allowed for improved account tracking and attribution metrics. This migration enabled stakeholders the ability to make better data-driven business decisions and targeting efforts.

The migration also coincided with a backend system update of our apps across 30 markets. In tandem with the system overhaul, we needed to account for the user experience for our existing subscribers, who had subscriptions to our platform through various portals, and new users who were being introduced to our app for the first time. These designs represent the new onboarding process for the various scenarios that a visitor would fall into upon using the updated apps.


 
 

Essence Women’s Conference

Essence Magazine hosted its annual day-long women’s conference in New York City, where high-powered women offered advice on finance, health and relationships. Leading the UI and UX experience as well as the production and back-end site development for the conference website, I ensured all assets were focused on the year’s theme, “Unleash the Power in You.”
